The bug is present on a fresh install of Karmic 64-bit using printer HP m1120N MFP, the syslog shows :

scan/sane/marvell.c 66: unable to load restricted library: libhpmud.so: Ne peut ouvrir le fichier d'objet partagé: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

Creating the symbolic link to /usr/lib/libhpmud.so.0 fixes the problem.
