I have also the same issue here! i am connecting to my Synology NAS and later i got 3 process with all 3 reaching out for maximal CPU!
2 times 'gvfsd-afp'
1 time 'gvfsd-browse'

There are no macs on this network.

i am running a ubuntu version 12.10, 64 bit
