but there has been no recent activity.

Ubuntu 15.10 (wily) reached end-of-life on July 28, 2016.

Reporter no longer uses Ubuntu so can't ask if this is still
an issue when using a current release.

As I don't see this problem when using Ubuntu 22.04 I''m
closing this report by changing the status to 'Invalid'.
