I was able to open and use the Software app just fine until I restarted while it was open and "pending" a download of a package (wifi wasn't connecting). Since that restart it will not open and I get this error in the logs:

org.gnome.Software[1419]: (gnome-software:2527): Gs-WARNING **: failed to open plugin /usr/lib/gs-plugins-9/libgs_plugin_xdg_app_reviews.so: /usr/lib/gs-plugins-9/libgs_plugin_xdg_app_reviews.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
