Hi, I tried the patch suggested by dmiranda, as well as the packages shipped in quantal, which already include that patch and some other changes. Instead of a flipped image, I got blackness or total garbage as already reported in other quantal bugs.

So, in any case, it's not fixed upstream. And quantal is even more broken than precise. I didn't try raring/saucy, though.
