Bug Description

I have a problem with the screenshoot application:
https://plus.google.com/u/0/108969096342290126362/posts/Qhcit4y4ek4

It creates a screenshoot that is upside down and in the wrong location.

shell version:
$ gnome-shell --version
GNOME Shell 3.4.0

kernel:
$ uname -a
Linux ritsu 3.2.0-18-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 9 21:36:08 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Hi,
I tried the patch suggested by dmiranda, as well as the packages shipped in quantal, which already include that patch and some other changes. Instead of a flipped image, I got blackness or total garbage as already reported in other quantal bugs.

The feedback from cogl developers is that this is a bug in the graphics card (in my case, I'm using NVIDIA with the proprietary drivers). https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/526615/linux/gnome-screenshot-creates-garbled-window-screenshots/post/3843415/#3843415

So, in any case, it's not fixed upstream. And quantal is even more broken than precise. I didn't try raring/saucy, though.
