Julien, it seems that my case was fixed by this upload: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1082856/comments/4. I don't know you are (were) affected by the same bug.

Jeremy, I don't know how many of you are able to see a keyboard layout indicator, but I certainly don't see one and therefore I have to agree with Sebastien: why a new bug report?
