This is issues is reproducible.

Update

If I open a terminal screen (CTRL + ALT + T) and then go full screen (F11) for at least 5 seconds then go back to default size (F11) then the Ubuntu Dock is redrawn and is shown as expected.

USB storage is 4 GB FAT formatted
