It seems only to happen when Gwget already shows a tooltip and wants to show an other one.
On Gwget startup, it brings up a tooltip with the text "Gwget". If you leave that one open and a download finishes, Gwget wants to show that in another tooltip - crash.
I presume it is also a bug in Gwget, although of course the panel shouldn't crash when an other app is buggy...
