Proxy settings now apply correctly to firefox and chromium but the following features are still missing from the previous release:
 * /etc/apt/apt.conf is not updated
 * No way to add authenticated proxy
 * No way do add an exclusion list.
 * No 'Use this setting for all protocols' option
