I have the same bug,

I noticed that gksu works fine from shell, the problem seems to be using gksu directly from the gnome-keyring when trying to make an escalation of permissions to root.
For example, the update-manager in the system tray does not work, but if I start from shell "gksu update-manager" then everything works.
