```

with

gdebi-gtk ~/Downloads/discord-0.0.16.deb
```

leads to the same error in Gdebi terminal:

```
dpkg: error: unable to read filedescriptor flags for <package status and progress file descriptor>: Bad file descriptor
```

So GDebi-Gtk is broken.
