Comment 6 for bug 514336

I tried to downgrade xserver-common and xserver-xorg-core from 2:1.7.3.902-1ubuntu9 to 2:1.7.3.902-1ubuntu8, but this did not change the key repeat behaviour. Moreover, key repeat works fine both if I use xterm or kde instead of gnome or gnome-failsafe, so this is probably a gnome problem and not an xorg problem. I noticed that there were also a lot of gnome packages that were upgraded. I'm attaching a list of the packages that were installed in my last update (there were quite a few since I hadn't updated in a week).
