I am going to have to disagree with you there Sebastian. I feel as though these icons should not be packaged in the icon theme.
gconf-editor is the only application to use these icons, and so unnecessary ones should not be included in the icon theme. I believe that is why gconf-editor did this in the past, and why it still does it, therefore I have replaced them with tango-style icons, just as all gnome programs are trying to do with their icons.
I shall try and speak to you and then resolve whether this should be subscribed.
