This does most certainly *does* have a win.

When a new user uses the LiveCD, most often they look through all the menus first, when they see an ugly icon like the one on gnome-pilot, it makes Ubuntu itself look lagging behind, like things haven't been updated. Also it makes it look unprofessional, have really out of the place icons.

The patch that I have given, makes the menu icon use the generic scanner icon from the current gtk icon theme or fall back on the gnome-icon-theme.

This has the advantage of given the 'PDA Devices' menu entry looking in place (ie. tango icon styled) and not look outdated. Also, if the user then changes the icon theme, this changes accordingly, if the icon theme has a scanner icon.

Although ideally, we should also change the application icons (ie. the ones that the software uses for about dialog etc.), this is a first step towards replacing them.
