Ok I applied diff... "http://paste.debian.net/193128/" ...this is what I get now:-

~$ libreoffice
Fontconfig error: "/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/fonts/truetype/fc_local.conf", line 1: syntax error
Fontconfig error: Cannot load config file "/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/fonts/truetype/fc_local.conf"
FcConfigParseAndLoad( "/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/fonts/truetype/fc_local.conf") => 0
WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to: /home/johan/.cache/keyring-FRzd97/pkcs11: No such file or directory

instead of this:- (after changing conf. file to above mentioned)
~$ libreoffice
Fontconfig warning: "/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/fonts/truetype/fc_local.conf", line 13: Having multiple <family> in <alias> isn't supported and may not works as expected
WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to: /home/johan/.cache/keyring-FRzd97/pkcs11: No such file or directory

I am truly new at this, so please bear with me if I have done something stupid.
