I fixed this problem:
(gecko:6375): Pango-WARNING **: failed to create cairo scaled font, expect ugly output. the offending font is 'Tahoma 12'
Segmentation fault (core dumped

(for me it was an Arial font though)

by changing permissions to 755 on all directories in /user/share/fonts.
