Hi Alexander, I found a few that seem sort of similar, but seem to be slightly different at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=location+bar+focus+new+tab. That search yields 5 bugs, do any of them seem to be it to you? The title of 407852 seems close but the description is far off.
