I don't know if my comment should be here or in another bug, or it there is a thread particularly for kubuntu. I just installed kubuntu 10.04 amd64, the fglrx driver 2:8.840ubuntu4. My card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570

Composition with OpenGL does not work (under kwin), it doesn't give any description of the error. I tried aticonfig --initial and I get the error:

Fail to link to fglrx-libglx.so, please check whether driver is installed correctly

What can I do about it?
