Same here. Same screen corruption: you can't drop to a shell, it's a nightmare. I also tried 8.602 which was even messier (I installed it directly from the .bin and it was _really_ hard to undo).

I am using an onboard Radeon HD 3200 on a Foxconn A7GM-S MObo, in the latest Jaunty 32 bit.
