Yes of course, and it works, but as you see in the title this is a problem related with ATI (fglrx) and applications (3D, videoplayers...) with compiz "Enabled".

Today most of us can not live without the normal compiz effects enabled.

They are very useful to switch between applications and desktops and have more productivity.
