This seems fairly similar to a couple of reports like for instance bug #15387, bug #115844, and a couple upstream, since this should be solved in the latest development release Hardy Heron, could you please try to reproduce this issue on a live environment of Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
