There is something strange in the build log:

Unsuccessful open on filename containing newline at /usr/bin/intltool-update line 1117.
intltool-update: POTFILES.in not found.

If I build evince 2.32 locally on Natty, I get the same error, but running intltool-update -p manually gives no error.
