Comment 11 for bug 363355

that's really strange...
a google search for "undefined symbol: poppler_page_get_thumbnail_pixbuf" returns nothing
and evince works fine for me on Jaunty...

the only other thing that comes to mind is user account settings: try removing everything under ~/.gnome2/evince, and then try opening evince again...
