I humbly ask to stop this assignment of blame. There was an upstream
beta release earlier on [1]. The simple fact is that we currently have no
Ubuntu developer who "owns" ekiga and keeping it up to date, so it's
really not just upstream's fault.
That the release came very late is an unfortunate timing, but we
cannot expect the world to synchronize to Ubuntu's release cycle.
