Same here. Unable to change the installation drive.

Burning with a TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633A (firmware T001), CD-R media is unbranded (but has worked perfectly for vast amounts of other things).
Installing with a Sony optical drive

Burned to DVD+R media (CMC MAG/M01) and now working fine.
