Comment 24 for bug 212388

Right... I have experienced numerous Python related issues on this install including the one you just mentioned. So it looks like that could possibly be the root cause (although no other issue happened in proximity to this one). I too would hate to imagine that many buggy KDE Python programs.

I got this again myself; about the same time I got another similar error ( DBusException in call_blocking() ) coming out of kdebluetooth. The relevant bug for kdebluetooth is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebluetooth/+bug/279983
and the debugging statement for THAT bug claims the problem is ProcCmdline: /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/kblueplugd

Wild conjecture: Either there are a lot of buggy KDE Python programs, or
there's something wrong with the shipping version of Python?
