After an update to cups 1.5.3-0ubuntu8 and installation of the just released PC-FAX Driver 1.0.0 from here:

my printer refuses to print again, exactly as the original issue.

Removing the fax package, removing the printer driver and installing the printer driver once again does not resolve the problem.

Will appreciate any help.
