This bug seems to have something to do with gv (ghostview). gv will freeze my screen every time, whether I invoke from command line or from Unity GUI, or call it through another program (emacs). The bug is also present if I run Natty in 'classic mode'. I am running Natty 64-bit.
I have no problems with gv in Fedora 15 64-bit (this machine dual boots) nor in Lucid (32-bit) on another machine.
Hope this helps.
