You can also install Citadel 8.16 Ubuntu package(s) from this link:

The same thing, install the following packages:

citadel-client
citadel-mta
citadel-server
citadel-webcit

It is verified to work on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32 bit.

The question now: will citadel 8.20 run on ubuntu 12.04?
