This is unexpected. I presume this is the version that Lotucus
created to prove the bug location. Sorry, then. As a quick fix,
please try

wget

sudo dpkg -i boinc_client_7.0.27+dfsg-3_amd64.deb*

*That was built with gcc 4.7 and Debian but I would expect to work
nonetheless for 12.04.
