I have not been able to reproduce this bug on Lucid (boinc-manager 6.10.17+dfsg-3ubuntu1). That may be because I'm not using a web proxy.

Anyhow, if you would like to request a backport for the bug fix for boinc-manager on Lucid, please do steps 1 and 2 of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention. Thank you.
