Today I tried this, and no change. Currently sound will come from headphones, but not speakers.
Dell 5510 - OEM 14.04lts upgraded to 16.04lts.

Edit in step #5 did not help (I have backed it out). Not sure what else I can do to help solve this issue, please ask (trying to make run at Linux again)
