Bug Description

Hello,

this is a duplicate for bug#1023593 which in turn, is very similar to bug# 1008969

I decided to duplicate the bug using the tool "ubuntu-bug audio", and having it collecting all the system information and adding it to the report. I hope I did the right way; otherwise I apologize for my lack of experience on reporting bugs. I hope next time I'll do it properly following your recommendations.

I copy & paste the inicial bug#1023593 text description:

=====================
Hello,

I am experiencing exactly the same issue reported on bug# 1008969

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1008969

by Lars J. Stenberg (sq2d3-tfrs-natyy) on 2012-06-05; but in my case my laptop is a Toshiba P850-12z instead of a Toshiba P850-132.

I have tried to apply the patch povided in bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1017017

but is seems it does not work for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Regards.

I hope that this bug will be resolved quickly since audio playback in headphone and recording are working fine.
