Happening here in Jaunty on Thinkpad T60p with ATI X1600, X.Org X Server 1.6.0, 2.6.28-17-generic #58-Ubuntu.

Oddly, I seem to have picked up 9.2-1 AND 9.3-1 at the same time?!?

I've never seen this before - but that's a side issue. This is one annoying bug. I use evince for some things, but in certain situations acroread is the best tool. I'd hate to give it up. I wonder how long the edit-compile-debug cycle is at Adobe these days...?

Worse: it looks like it may have been a security update - there's no way to back it out.

I cast one big vote for this bug....
