I have same problem with PPTP (network- manager- pptp).
An existing connection I set in past isn't working (bug 508740) and a new connection cannot be created because button "Add" is grayed out.
Used SW: manager- pptp: 0.8~rc1-0ubuntu2
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid, amd64
