  I do have the snap store installed. That came in the install by default. I didn't realize the snap store was replacing it, which explains the absence of the software store itself. Thanks for the info. I'll go ahead and uninstall the old software store. Glad it isn't a bug. Also sorry for not filing it on the correct package.
