A browser plugin to view embedded videos, depends on GNOME Mplayer (also in need of packaging: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/121301) a successor to mplayer-plugin (already in the repos) from the same author - the former is no longer actively developed. It should be better designed and also work not only with gecko based browsers, but with Konqueror and Opera as well.
