Comment 126 for bug 11334

I haven't read all the comments here, but if this were my bug, I would "solve" it by just shipping a clipboard manager with the default install (Fedora does this I imagine and I know the KDE install comes with klipper by default). The behavior as-is is NOTABUG (using bugzilla notation here, not yelling) since this is how X works. If this is to be fixed for everywhere, it should go to X developers.
