Comment 28 for bug 1008197

I am running cinnamon, obtained via de ppa repository, on Ubuntu 12.04.
Version I am using is:
Package: cinnamon
New: yes
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 1.4.0-UP3-0ubuntu1~precise1

Today I had writer, calc and firefox running and after about 10 minutes the desktop froze completely.
What additional information can I provide to help resolve this issue for Ubuntu 12.04.
