Bug Description

There is currently no way to view my current configuration (necessary during troubleshooting phases). If I need to follow the instructions on some site on how to set it up, I can't verify it being correct and have to setup a custom APN, which if I do, I can't roll back to the original configuration.

This is due to the fact that the APN editor only displays a list of APN names for Internet APNs, and "Same APN as for Internet" and "Custom" menu items for MMS APNs. There's no way to view any of the other attributes ( eg. access point name, username, ... ).

Re-confirmed with mako using the latest RTM and vivid-proposed ( #136 ) builds as of Mar 17 2015.

<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Networking#apn-mobile>: "The main “APN” screen should always have three items: “MMS APN…”, “Internet APN…”, and “LTE APN…” ... Choosing an item should open the corresponding dialog."

Thanks, can't you edit the apn settings to see the current values?

The importance of this was illustrated by the recent customer support calls where an APN with an appropriate looking name was displayed but with an incorrect configuration. The customers knew the correct values for their carriers and would have realized it was incorrect and not required a support call.
