Currently the stopwatch timer uses the hh:mm:ss format to diplay the stopwatch time. However, in reality a stopwatch is used to measure lap times in accuracies of microseconds. Hence it is important to include microseconds in the stopwatch timer.
Get confirmation from design team before implementing it.
