The screenshot in comment 1 is not an installer bug. It perhaps belongs on plymouth or perhaps on the kernel.
Comment 2 is probably a bug in apt's zh_CN translation, depending on precisely what the unexplained error is here.
Comment 3 is a bug in ubiquity. We don't have a way to do locale-dependent substitution of ${TIME} yet.
Comment 4 is probably a bug in gtk or pango. ubiquity doesn't control the underlining here.
Comment 5 is a bug in ubiquity. The fallback text for the install_progress_text widget has no translation support.
I will repurpose this bug for only comments 3 and 5. Please file comments 1, 2, and 4 as separate bugs on the relevant packages.
