Bug Description
Should be: Tekst > Wstaw na ścieżkę. For last few Ubuntu version it said: Tekst > Konwertuje zaznaczone obiekty na ścieżki.

What is the English text for the menu entry? See attached screenshot how the 'Text' menu is translated in Inkscape 0.48 (current stable version) with the official Polish translation files that are included with Inkscape.
AFAIU Ubuntu chooses to include their own translation files for Inkscape (see for example similar issues reported in bug #498362 and bug #617763).
