Bug Description

When typing one of the following characters, the last word typed (up to the previous whitespace) disappears:
_ # &

After typing another character, all text reappears.

When typing % sign, it does not show until another character is typed.

Testcase:
Type: Hello world[#/_/&]
'world' disappears
typeing any character and all becomes visible again.

getprop output: maguro
device: galaxy nexus

Another example is words ending in 'w'
Steps:
1. open terminal (I am using a mir enable galaxy nexus)
2. type abcwcwcw

expected result:
text does not disappear when typing

actual result:
text disappears when w is the last letter

Is this an upstream bug or something internal to terminal app? I've seen this disappearing text occur on the device in many different scenarios.

its still there on utopic image #107 device: mako

in my case: the w does not appear at all although the cursor moves. when the next character is typed, both the w and that new letter both appear.

this only happens when fontsize is under 18. increasing it makes it output normally.

I am going to add a font select option in the preferences. Fonts like courier do not suffer from this bug.

It should still work with Ubuntu Mono, though. Adding a font selection option is a workaround, not a fix.

@Christopher and developers.

I linked a branch where you can select the font. Its good as a start, but the font entries are manually added and should really have a way to add them depending on the directory. Anyway; You should be able to easily switch to different fonts, which brings me to ubuntu mono:

The trouble with ubuntu mono, is that the bottom of the characters are cut off, and so it needs a little bit of work.
