Typing "k" or "w" causes word to disappear (desktop)

Other characters that do this are: # _ % & ARCKWYÖ Á and I presume many others
If it matters; I am using a Colemak keyboard layout.

Can you test this with a different font and see if the issue still occurs?

This caused other issues, but worked

Worked fine. No disappearing; Some aesthetic issues though, probably having something to do with this:

For whatever reason; Ubuntu Mono was the only font that did that. It caused the page header bar to disappear
