However, even after you get the deb package installed, it breaks your ability to sudo apt-get update. /

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade"

Does the upstream fix for everyone affected (who has attempted to install a third party package such as Google Chrome) entail to start a terminal session and run these commands, while adding "sudo apt-get -f install"?
