In 2 scenarios, if any Sakura preferences are changed, they are lost/reset and the changes have to be redone:

1) Install, login, change Sakura preferences, logout, login and the changes are lost.

2) Install, login, change Sakura preferences, reboot, login and the changes are lost.

3) After doing 2), if the changes are made again, reboot or logout/login then they persist.
