Sakura Preferences Not Initially Persistent

Bug Description

In 2 scenarios, if any Sakura preferences are changed, they are lost/reset and the changes have to be redone (due to a sakura.conf file not being generated)...

1) Install, login, change Sakura preferences, leave Sakura window open, logout, login and the changes are lost.

2) Install, login, change Sakura preferences, leave Sakura window open, reboot, login and the changes are lost.

3) After doing 2), if the changes are made again, reboot or logout/login then they persist...but this may now (after further testing) depend on whether the Sakura window (with changes) is left open or closed tidily (using exit or top-right X close window button).

Update: I have noticed that after first install there is no ~/.config/sakura/sakura.config file present.

Once the prefs changes are seen to be persistent that file is present.

Great!
Maybe we can touch that file to fix this.
Could you test installing, then run:
mount /dev/sd*a1* /mnt ## instead of a1 use the appropriate
device/partition
cd /mnt/home/*username* ## use your username
mkdir .config/sakura ## this may already exist
touch .config/sakura/sakura.config
then reboot and see if the issue is gone

Update: I got the filename slightly wrong, it is sakura.conf not sakura.config...but some interesting news on doing a bit more testing as prompted by Israel...

1) If I change a pref. and type 'exit' then when I open Sakura the next time, the pref. is retained and a .conf file exists.

2) If I change a pref. and click on the X (top right cross) to close the Sakura window, the pref. is retained and a .conf file exists.

3) If I change a pref. and do the 'touch' as suggested (or not) and leave the Sakura window open and either logout or reboot,
    then the pref. is lost.
