Ubuntu Desktop (noble) install
- manual partitioning
- use sda3 (unused/empty partition, but already formatted) for /
- re-use sda5 for /home

** Expected outcome

Install completes; i reboot & login

** Actual outcome

installer has just stopped...

the installer window has been stuck for some time.. Bottom says "Setting up the system", but the three orange things just stopped, so no changes in window for ~20 mins (untimed)

See what journalctl shows below; but the primary desktop showed only wallpaper; and the ubuntu-desktop-installer window (static!) I moved to the second monitor; no other windows are on screen
